Built for the questions support lines hear daily
“Why is my download taking so long?”
Because a 50 GB game at 36 Mbps is a three-hour job — and now you can prove it in ten seconds with the Download Time Calculator, instead of arguing about it.
“Is 100 GB a month enough for us?”
Two hours of 4K streaming a day eats about 420 GB a month on its own. The Data Usage Estimator turns your household's habits into one honest monthly number.
“What does 99.9% uptime even mean?”
It means your provider may be down for 43 minutes a month and still meet the SLA. The SLA Uptime Calculator translates every “nine” into real minutes.
Numbers you can trust
Every TelecomKit calculator uses the standard formula for its job — 8 bits to a byte, decimal gigabytes the way ISPs sell them, proper subnet maths — and each one shows its working on the page, so you can check it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Is TelecomKit free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use, with no account, subscription or hidden charges.
Do my numbers get uploaded anywhere?
No. All calculations run in your browser on your own device. We never see the IPs, file sizes or usage figures you enter.
Why do your answers differ slightly from my provider's app?
Providers sometimes count in binary gigabytes (GiB) or include overhead. We use decimal units (1 GB = 1,000 MB) and show the formula on every page so you can see exactly what was assumed.
Can I use these tools at work?
Absolutely — they are designed for support agents, network staff, shop teams and customers alike. Results are planning estimates; contractual figures from your provider always prevail.
